Theologian par excellence of the Reformation, John Calvin is best known for his Institutes of the Christian Religion, written as a theological introduction to the Bible and a vindication of Reformation principles. After appearing in several editions beginning in 1536, Calvin’s Institutes was finally published in this authoritative 1559 edition. This particular translation, by Henry Beveridge, includes Beveridge’s footnotes and an additional set of footnotes from Robert Dunzweiler’s edition of the Institutes.

How to get your free book:

PC Users New to Logos: Download the free Libronix Digital Library System if it is not already on your computer.

Next, create a Logos.com User Account. When registering your account, it is important to provide your Libronix Customer ID. You can find it in Libronix under Help > About Libronix DLS.

Mac Users New to Logos: The Mac engine of our Libronix Digital Library System is required to use this book. You can purchase the Mac engine-only or buy it within a Logos for Mac base package.

To order, first create a Logos.com User Account then proceed with the engine or base package purchase.

Get your free gift:

Login to your Logos.com User Account.

Enter coupon code PR0709 in Checkout.

Click Proceed under Items and Billing, then click Submit Order. Note: Billing information is required even if your Total is $0.00.

PC Users: With Libronix closed, click the orange Unlock & Download button on the Purchase Summary page.

Finally, click the Update button from the Libronix Update window. Once the update is complete, open Libronix.

Mac Users: Do not click the orange Unlock & Download button on the Purchase Summary page. This is for Windows users only. Instead, go to www.logos.com/user/MyOrders#Unlocks, find your order, and save the book files as indicated below.

With Libronix closed, manually put the book file in your resources folder (Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources on the startup volume).

Finally, open Libronix and Synchronize your licenses (Tools > Library Management > Synchronize Licenses).

Your new books should now appear in My Library. You can use this same process in the future to purchase new resources for your digital library.
